Grand Rapids Anesthesiologist Named President of the Michigan State Medical Society

David Krhovsky, M.D. Takes Reins of Statewide Physician Organization

 LANSING Mich. – The Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists today congratulated Doctor David Krhovsky, a Grand Rapids physician anesthesiologist and a member of the MSA Board of Directors, on becoming the President of the Michigan State Medical Society.

Krhovsky becomes the 3rd anesthesiologist elected President of MSMS in the last 4 years.  He was installed as President in Dearborn this weekend at the annual Michigan State Medical Society House of Delegates meeting.

A graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, he is a past president of MSA, the Kent County Medical Society, and the KCMS Foundation. Dr. Krhovsky is on staff at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, and is a former President of the Spectrum Health Medical Staff.  He currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Spectrum Health.

The Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists is the statewide organization of anesthesiologists for the representation, education, and advancement of physicians providing ethical anesthesia care. MSA serves patients, the public, lawmakers, physicians and other professionals by defining and advancing the standard of anesthesia care and supporting the practice of anesthesiology.
